Like many people these days, I am podfading. I never wanted to, but I believe that my voice can be heard through many, many other podcasters and I don't believe in trying to reinvent the wheel.
I greatly enjoyed doing this show and appreciate everyone who participated.
Don't think that I'll be gone, I'll still be on my audio & video journal, all the blogs I have on this site, all the forums I am a member of and of course Flickr.
If you are looking for tech news, there is no other podcast that I can recommend more highly other than Buzz Out Loud, CNET's podcast of in-determinate length.
With that said…I'm off to other projects. Wish me luck!

I had to reinstall Windows…again! I'm recovering from double click, next, next, next, reboot syndrome.

Monday evening I received a very, very special package. It came from one of my dear listeners, JayT from JayTOnline.com. He purchased, for me, a 1 GIG SD card from my Amazon wish list. This will TRULY help me out in the production of The Weekly Tech Review, my audio journal and many other things! I am using the card in my PocketPC at the moment to store audio files from other podcasters as well as testing out recording with the PocketPC. Thank you SOOO much! It is GREATLY appreciated!!!

On this week's episode of TWTR I answer a question from Rupert, one of the listener's of TWTR. He is needing a way to keep viruses and spyware off of his system. I also talk about Skype now offering, until the end of the year at least, free calling from your PC to land lines. In the show I mention this link for a tutorial on how to turn an ordinary cordless phone into a Skype phone. Later in the show I talk about Ubuntu going commercial and request feedback on what you think it means.
This episode was a bit short and a little hurried, please forgive me for that, had several things to do after recording. I hope its decent enough so you can get some valuable information from it!

In this episode of TWTR I talk about my purchase of a Flickr Pro account. I give you an update on watching ABC television shows online, I also talk about the new Toshiba HD-DVD player.
On the show I mention DL.TV for their product review of the new Toshiba HD-DVD Player. I also mention CNET for their showing of a video where a guy opens the case of a brand new HD-DVD player before even playing a DVD on it
I give out a couple of shouts to fellow podcasters & podcasts JayT from JayT Online and of course The Buzz Out Loud Crew from CNET. (By the way, the shoutouts aren't so you'll give me one back, they are there because I think you have a great show)
On this episode I also briefly mention an upcoming article for my Fedora Core Blog about installing FC4 onto older hardware.
I share listener feedback.
Lastly I beg and plead for your money!
LOL, I'm joking. But it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate to me or purchase something off of my Amazon Wish List. If you do, I'll definitely give you a plug on my show.

On this weeks episode I talk about the new community supported Freespire project being sponsored by Linspire. I also talk about Microsoft's new anti-piracy update that scans your computer to check whether your copy of Windows is “genuine.” I also briefly mention IT certifications & watching ABC shows, for free, online.
The audio in one spot of this episode got screwed up, I'm not sure how, so please forgive me on that.
