Andy Not Andrew is many things. It is an audio and video blog where I post personal audio and video journal entries about my life, my thoughts on life and my opinion on things happening in the world that affect me. I also make instructional cooking videos which I greatly enjoy. I am not a five star chef, my kitchen isn’t the fanciest but I sure do love to cook some good food. The website for Andy Not Andrew was designed by me. It is running on the WordPress content management system. The header graphic at the top of the website was drawn by me, by hand, scanned into the computer. I added color and other effects to the drawing using Macromedia Fireworks.

Would you have your toast without butter? Most certainly not! At least you shouldn’t! TechButter.com contains two years worth of technology news opinion, in-depth tutorials, in-depth reviews of free and open source software, tips, rants, raves and much more. Over the past couple of years the blog has been moved from the Opera community, my homepage on two different content management systems (Nucleus and WordPress), to another domain and now to it’s new home at techbutter.com which I hope is where it remains because I very much like the name! The website was designed by me using XHTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop and of course WordPress’ template tags.

This is where you will find my political beliefs, thoughts on society, culture and my distaste for our current leaders in America. This blog started out on Blogger. Life happened. I was unable to maintain it. I very much wanted to revive the blog because of the current happenings in the world. I bought the domain name and set it up. I honestly do not get to blog on this blog as much as I would like to, however when I do get a chance to blog there I open up and pour everything I can into my entires. I like to write long, in-depth entries because in twenty years I want to have context to what I was writing. I am working on a theme for the site. I am for now using the default WordPress theme, Kubrick.

This weblog is no longer being updated but you can still view all the content I published there (unless it is private). On this audio & video weblog I published cooking videos, audio journal entries publically but also had a few that were private. I quit doing this weblog because I felt as though a lot of the things I was saying I needed to say out loud, publicly, whatever the consequences. So I stopped doing it and came back in full force with Andy Not Andrew.

TWTR was my weekly (at least I tried to do it weekly!) technology podcast. I gave my opinion on what was happening in technology news, reviews of software. I talked a great deal about free, open source software and Linux. I quit doing this project because I felt as though there were many other technology podcasts out there which were doing a much better job at it. I also felt as though I was able to provide people much better technology news, tutorials, etc through writing on my technology blogs, I had several at the time which have now been merged into TechButter. You can still hear all the audio entries I posted by visiting the website.
